The Art of Block Printing
Unlike mass-produced digital prints, the Anna Maxi Dress is handcrafted using age-old block printing traditions. Every motif is stamped onto pure fabric by skilled artisans using hand-carved wooden blocks and natural, plant-based dyes.
Because this piece is colored with natural ingredients rather than harsh synthetic chemicals, slight variations in print alignment and subtle dye character are standard features of genuine artisan craftsmanship.
To preserve the rich pigments and softness of your dress, follow these simple care steps:
First Few Washes: Turn inside out and wash separately in cold water.
Washing: Gentle machine cycle or hand wash using a mild, eco-friendly detergent. Use a few colour catches during washing if possible.
Avoid: Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, tumble dry, or leave soaked in water.
Drying: Line dry in the shade to protect the natural pigments from harsh sunlight.
Ironing: Iron on the reverse side on low to medium heat if needed.
